Last week I was invited to an event called Mission Pink Champagne Makeover hosted by Ontario Mills Mall. October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, Ontario Mills Mall has partnered with the Inland Empire Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation aimed to bring awareness around the fight against breast cancer. Ontario Mils along with other Simon Malls has committed to a donation at least $250,000 to the Susan G. Komen foundation with the help of their customers. Many retailers, like Neiman Marcus Last Call, are donating a percentage of their sales and displaying their latest pink fashion trends. Planet Beauty is also donating a percentage of their sales through select pink products throughout their store. Shoppers can also participate by purchasing a $10 voucher card giving them 25% off any single item. Another way for shoppers to get involved is with ever $1 donation customers can add a customized pink foam brick to the Ontario Mills Wall of Strength. I can’t think of a better way to raise awareness towards a cause that has touched thousands of brave and beautiful women all over the country.
