Mondays and Thursdays are normally when I wash my hair. I use Living Proof Restore Shampoo and Conditioner which I love because it cleanses without sulfates or silicones and restores damaged hair cuticles. The days that I don’t wash my hair, I’ll use Living Proof Perfect Hair Dry Shampoo which actually cleans hair, eliminates oil, sweat, and odor. I’ve tried several dry shampoos and many of them just leave a white cast on my hair or just masks the oil without actually cleaning it, um no thank you! And at night I like to apply Living Proof Instant Repair on my ends to treat my damaged hair.
From the entire line, one of the products that have deeply changed my hair routine would be the Restore Perfecting Spray. The Restore Perfecting Spray works instantly at crucial points in the hair damage cycle. Our hair is the most vulnerable when wet and damp. This spray softens and strengthens while conditioning detangled damp hair. It also has UV and heat protection so you don’t have to feel guilty when you use your curling iron, blow dryer, or spend the day in the sun. I use a curling iron almost daily and never liked the idea of using heat protectant spray because I felt it would weigh my hair down. But that is not the case with this spray since it has a silicone-free formula that’s light enough for those who have fine hair (me!) but powerful enough for anyone whose strands feel like straw. It’s a product that has hydrated my damaged bleached hair and has given it some shine and life back!
