Worldwide, it’s safe to say we are all dealing with fear, panic, stress, anxiety, and sadness during these uncertain times. To be honest, I almost don’t even know how to process it all sometimes. It can be very overwhelming. In the last few weeks, the news, social media, conversations, emails, text messages, our thoughts have been all about COVID-19 and it should be since that’s what the most important right now.
For me, I’m trying to figure out how to keep calm and be a little less stressed all while being informed of what’s going on in the world. The last few weeks have been very heavy and hearing the news constantly can really take a toll on me. We’re all freaked out, we’re all listening to the news all day and sometimes I feel like we all need to take short breaks from all the heaviness.
So I want to continue sharing inspiration whether that’s through cooking, skincare routines, try on hauls, baby updates, whatever it might be. I realize how insignificant all that is right now and I don’t want to appear insensitive or ignorant of what’s going on in the world however I want to continue to use my digital platform as a place for us to connect, to hopefully give a little relief and provide a little distraction from the constant stream of heavy news. For me, some lightheartedness, positivity, and a little bit of normalcy is desperately what I need during these difficult times.
If you also find yourself overwhelmed by the news, I encourage you to also take a little break and try something new, finish that book you’ve been meaning to get through, facetime your friends, meditate, pray, download a work out app, try out a new recipe, listen to a podcast whatever it might be let’s all stay healthy, and most importantly stay home.
I think it’s important that we all stay connected as we are all going through this together. I hate feeling alone esp. during times like these so if you ever need someone to talk to, have questions, or feel lonely please DM me, I’m here for you. Sending you guys tons of love, positivity, and wellness. I’m feeling grateful that I’m abel to continue creating more positive content and hopefully inspiring you along the way <3
