Healthy Grain-Free Brownies Recipe

Yup you heard that right, HEALTHY Grain Free Gluten Free BROWNIESSS! It’s a highly requested recipe and after a few trials and errors, I feel like I’ve finally perfected the recipe!

As you guys know, I’ve been eating clean and healthy for the last few years and in 2019 I’ve even transitioned into gluten-free as well due to health reasons (which you can read about here). But I’m not gonna lie, there are days I’m just craving a brownie or some kind of decadent dessert but instead of buying those highly processed boxed mixes, I just decided to experiment a bit and make my own healthy version of brownies. I’ve been making these the last year and they are seriously so good and guilt-free! I’ll also add vanilla ice cream on top ‘cus sometimes you just gotta live a little!

RECIPE
• 1 1/2 cups unsalted smooth almond butter
• 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
• 2 tbsp cassava flour or GF flour  (optional to add but if you want a little more bread-ish texture then add)
• 1/2 cup raw organic cacao powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp pink salt
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup Aunt Sue’s Raw & Unfiltered honey
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Toppings (optional):
• Nuts
• Paleo Chocolate Chips
Honestly anything you want!

Combine all ingredients into a bowl and bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 mins.

I personally love using honey in a lot of my everyday meals like my smoothies, bake goods, a drizzle on my yogurt or oatmeal, and since I eat honey quite frequently I like to make sure I’m using raw honey that’s minimally processed and highest quality grade!

My personal fave is Aunt Sue’s® honey! It is raw and unfiltered, minimally processed, and sourced from local American beekeepers. Because their honey is gathered by the Independent Beekeepers of Sioux Honey Association Co-op, you can rest assured knowing that only the highest quality of U.S Grade A honey reaches your shelf.

I hope you guys liked this recipe and don’t forget to tag me if you guys do make them! Talk to you in the next one!
