The Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa located in between La Jolla and Del Mar was the perfect place for a much needed a mini staycation. This Spanish-style resort is the perfect blend of old and new, making it an unforgettable experience. This hotel lines along the coast and captures the epitome of San Diego. Located minutes away from the beach, the Estancia Hotel is ideal for those who crave the sun and the sea!
We stayed in the Estate Guestroom with our own private balcony, perfect for soaking in the California sunshine. The best part was the courtyard view from our room! It was like waking up in paradise every morning.
Another perk of the hotel is that they offer extensive amenities such as spa services including massages, facials, nail and body treatments and a heated saltwater pool and whirlpool.
And for dinner, we dined at Mustangs & Burros, a restaurant located in the resort, which was super convenient. The restaurant serves Baja-inspired meals in its charming dining room and spacious patio. We sipped on house-made sangria and margaritas while enjoying tacos and burritos. I loved that we didn’t have to drive anywhere for dinner which made our night relaxing and stress-free. It was the perfect mini staycation close enough to home but far away to feel an escape!
